Dr. Molana is a feminist political geographer specializing in gender, temporality, state violence, and resistance in Iran and the broader Middle East. Her current research explores the geopolitics of time and temporality through themes of hauntology, war memorialization, and martyrdom in post-Islamic Revolution Iran. Her work has been published in various journals, including Political Geography, Gender, Place & Culture, Emotion, Space and Society, and The Professional Geographer. She is also the author of the forthcoming book Middle East and North Africa: A Critical Introduction, to be published by Routledge.
