About

Young-Im Lee teaches Gender Politics and East Asian politics. Her research examines how gender shapes political representation, leadership, and electoral politics, primarily in South Korea and Taiwan. Her work addresses women’s political representation and leadership, gender quotas and candidate selection, gender and presidential elections, and the presidential impeachment. Her recent research expands this agenda to anti-feminism, anti-gender movements, populism, and equity in higher education.
