Expertise
Much of my work relates to 20th century California Indian land claims, the Federated Indians of California, and Mountain Maidu activist Marie Mason Potts (1895-1978), but I have also begun a new book project about the colonial imaginaries settlers brought to the San Francisco Bay area, and to their interactions with Mountain Maidu people and lands.
