My research interests are currently focused in three areas:
- Characterization and elucidation of the role that dissolved organic compounds play in the Sacramento - San Joaquin Delta water quality.
- The structure-function relationship in zeolite catalytic and sorption materials.
- Competitive adsorption by zeolite materials related to waste treatment.
Professor Crawford's research is focused upon utilizing solid state NMR, X-ray diffraction, and IR spectroscopy to formulate an understanding of structure-function relationships and diffusion processes in porous materials and geologic systems.
