Expertise

I am interested in conducting research on the use of GPU computing in various domains such as automotive computing [recognizing speed-limit signs], embedded systems [multitasking among real-time embedded tasks], algorithms [combinatorial optimization], and medical imaging [performing image registration]. I also conduct research in the areas of autonomous driving [benchmarking automotive workloads] and mobile application development [mobile security]. In addition, I am interested in pursuing pedagogy-related research [engaging students through mobile application development]. Finally, I have been conducting studies in the fields of artificial intelligence [benchmarking deep learning frameworks, building robotic controllers], machine learning [implementing sampling methods], and comparison of parallel architectures [FPGA vs GPU].
