Expertise

My research program is directed towards understanding reaction rates and pathways of 1) ligand substitution in oxo-centered transition metal clusters 2) growth and substitution of supramolecular metal assemblies and 3) metal complexation to solid surfaces and supports.

Specialty & Interests: Inorganic

Professor Houston’s research involves studying reaction rates and mechanistic pathways of ligand substitution at oxo-centered transition metal clusters and polyoxometallate anions using NMR.
