We study the interior Lipschitz continuity and higher weak differentiability of local minimizers of functionals with (p, q)-growth in the Heisenberg group for the full range 1 < p ≤ q < ∞ under a suitable bound on the gap q/p. Our results cover both degenerate and nondegenerate cases.
