Abstract
The purpose of the study was to compare posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms between those children who experienced loss events and those who experienced other types of traumatic events, such as witnessing violence; physical, sexual, or emotional abuse; and physical neglect. The purpose of this study was to replicate the findings from Study ? and compare PTSD symptoms between children who experienced loss or were exposed to community violence (e.g., witnessing knife or other weapon; being robbed, threatened, or physically hurt).
