Abstract

Shootings School safety Public schools Students Age

Next, I identified that there were 49,484,000 students enrolled in a public school setting in the fall of 2010 (Snyder & Dillow, 2013; note that approximately 10% of our nation's schoolchildren do not attend a public school; U.S. Department of Education, 2009).
