Abstract
On the state level, Dr. Malone serves on the board of the Maryland School Psychologists’ Association as a faculty representative, and previously chaired its strategic planning committee. According to her university biography, the themes of her research are (a) development of multicultural competence through education and training, (b) diversification of the profession of school psychology, and (c) the relationship between culturally competent practice and PK–12 student outcomes. In addition to her professional activities, Dr. Malone is a very active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (Federal City Alumnae).
