Abstract
Yosemite Suite is an orchestral composition for a large symphony orchestra that consists of three movements. Each movement has a different character and represents a particular part of the Yosemite National Park in California and my experience there. The first movement, “Hikes and Waterfalls,” depicts a journey of a hiker hiking up to the amazing waterfalls such as the Vernal Falls in Yosemite. The second movement, “Meadow and Deer,” portrays the charming meadows in Yosemite and the playful deer jumping around the fields. The third movement, “Glacier Point and Half Dome,” represents the majestic Glacier Point view and the famous Half Dome rock in Yosemite.
