Abstract
The California Department of General Services (DGS) can potentially lose many employees, and subsequently lose much of the knowledge that these employees have gained in their tenure with the department. Sources of Data The information was gathered through reviewing online academic journals, professional websites, and on the job experience. Conclusions Reached DGS needs a Knowledge Management System. A Wiki best meets the department’s knowledge management needs. The Wiki Knowledge Management System will be written using Microsoft’s .Net and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
