Abstract

Reading (Elementary)
It was the purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of the use of parallel chart stories in beginning reading as one part of a carefully planned beginning reading program. It was also the purpose of this study to discover whether skills were maintained by pupils in the second grade who had used parallel chart stories as one part of the beginning reading program.
