Abstract
Truck Driver Recruiting Company (TDRC) provides service to thousands of truck drivers and hundreds of organizations throughout California. Over recent years, TDRC experienced many internal and external changes regarding strategic management. Due to these changes, there was a need for TDRC to implement a strong strategy evaluation component to assess the effectiveness of their strategic management in order to sustain competitive advantage in such a volatile industry. To accomplish this, a participatory action research approach was used to develop the Truck Driver and the Client Satisfaction surveys. A total of 29 drivers responded to the Driver Satisfaction Survey and 20 clients responded to the Client Satisfaction Survey. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, and a subgroup analysis were conducted on the survey items. Results provide more insight on the significance of implementing a strategy evaluation process at an organization. Strengths, limitations, and recommendations for future research are also discussed.
