Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the social competence of a group of young male stutterers. Because of a possible relationship between social competence and intelligence, it seemed desirable to have some estimate of the intellectual ability of this group. Therefore, the following questions were proposed: 1. What is the level of social competence of young male stutterers? 2. What is the intelligence level of young male stutterers? 3. What is the relationship between social competence and intelligence of young male stutterers?
