Abstract
This study is a correlation study to see if the relationship between case managers and parolees impacts the quality of services offered through the Sacramento Community Based Coalition Program. The design of the study is a descriptive quantitative cross-sectional survey that uses the Likert Scale to measure the participants attitudes towards their relationship with one-another and the benefits that are offered/received through the Sacramento Community Based Coalition Program. A convenience sample of case managers and parolees were selected through the Sacramento Community Based Coalition Program. There were 90 surveys completed. The chi-square tests were used to determine if there is a correlation between the case managers and parolee’s relationship and if this relationship impacts the quality of services offered through the Sacramento Community Based Coalition Program. The statistical analysis was approaching significance. The case managers and parolees had similar responses to the benefits that are offered through the Sacramento Community Based Coalition Program. Implications for social work practice are discussed.
