Abstract
Advanced courses much move at an ambitious pace in order to cover all learning standards and encounter difficulties in teaching content meaningfully. The research questions of this study were surrounding the effects of the flipped instructional model on students’ academic outcomes from and depth of understanding, as well as their responses to the flipped instructional method. Data sources in this study included daily exit tickets, unit assessments and student feedback in additional to observations made by the teacher. The outcomes of this study have the potential to extend to any course which moves at an accelerated pace, whether those be advanced courses or remedial courses.
