Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to determine the desires and beliefs of teachers, parents, school board, and administrators of the Rio Linda Union District regarding the type of report card that would suit the needs of the district and be acceptable to all concerned, with a view to developing such a card. After getting the thinking of all of these people, the Report Card Committee would try to develop a card which would meet the needs of the district and, at the same time, comply with the criteria for a good reporting plan. The ultimate purpose of the study was to bring about improvement in the marking and reporting practices of the district.
