Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the adequacy of natural and artificial lighting of classrooms of Placer High School and College and to make general recommendations for the improvement of lighting in these classrooms. This involves several minor problems: (1) to determine just what standards should be achieved; (2) to determine what the natural and artificial lighting situation is; (3) to compare the lighting conditions at Placer High School and College with acceptable standards; and (4) to make general recommendations for achieving these standards.
