Abstract
With the development of society, the increasing of roads and car ownership in cities makes the traffic situation complicated. Every day there will be automobile safety accidents, which is also a major cause of property losses and casualties. In many traffic accidents that cause casualties or property losses, the perpetrators often run away, both sides of the perpetrators and the victims say different things, lack of witnesses and so on. The traffic accident handling methods of government departments are relatively traditional, and the analysis methods and technical level are relatively backward. Subjective judgment of the cause and responsibility of the accident is lack of scientific, objective and fair, which makes it difficult to accurately divide the responsibility of the involved vehicles and personnel.
There are two-dimensional methods of estimating vehicle speed of collisions based on vehicle deformation. These relate to energy dissipation considering the profile deformation. The analysis of three-dimensional deformation as it relates to energy dissipation is a new area of study. This research examines this problem using three-dimensional bodies and the finite element method. In traffic accident analysis and treatment, the main goal is to accurately reproduce the movement process of the accident vehicle and find out the cause of the accident. This research will use SolidWorks to model the accident and conduct motion analysis of the accident. The research method of this project is to calculate the instantaneous speed of the backward-pushing vehicle before the collision based on the vehicle collision deformation after the traffic accident.
