Abstract
Statement of Problem: The purpose of this study is to investigate possible correlations between concussion recovery time and the amount of sleep an athlete receives following a concussion. Sources of Data: Data collection came from journal entries of the student athletes that are subjects in this study. Journal entries will contain hours of sleep, symptoms, and a daily activity log. Conclusions Reached: Conclusions support the hypothesis that sleep can play an essential role in concussion recovery time, but may can affect individuals differently.
