Abstract
The project focuses on the relay protection of two power transformers, a 30MVA and a 40MVA respectively. Specifically, the project focuses on the design and the application of the 51, 50, 50G and 87 protection schemes for the two power transformers. The design results were used to write a testing procedure and a test plan using AcSELerator and Test Universe Software for the four different relays.
