This project strives to narrate the deeply intimate journey which my drawings have taken me throughout the two-year course of this MFA program. This project expresses the importance of my drawing process, the gravity of the figures and symbols which are recurrently found in my work, as well as the exploration of my own personal and spiritual growth. As I continued to push the limits of what I thought I could and couldn’t do as a draftsman, I discovered an unforeseen appreciation towards that of my self and my past, claiming through the creation of these drawings a newfound connection and love for the difficult yet auspicious world which we share in this life.
