Abstract
This study examines the perspectives of social emotional facilitators on Social Emotional Learning programs and their effectiveness on high school students. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyze responses from 10 interviews. Participants were selected via snowball sampling. The three main themes that emerged were: curriculum used, student engagement, and how the program can make improvements to better serve the students. The challenges of equity and inclusion were also highlighted. The implications for social work policy and practice are also discussed.
