Abstract
Statement of Problem
The purpose of this research project was to explore the needs of foster and emancipated youth, focusing on transportation services for youth in El Dorado County and to conduct a program evaluation of the Independent Living Program.
Sources of Data
Data was gathered from questionnaire's that were distributed to foster and emancipated youth in El Dorado County that participated in the Independent Living Program and to Child Protective Services, Social Workers, who are employed by El Dorado County, Department of Human Services.
Conclusions Reached
The results from this study found that there is a great need for additional transportation services for foster and emancipated youth in El Dorado County.
