Abstract

Beauty as it applies to women in art Contemporary art Art and femeninity
“I Couldn’t Keep It To Myself” (Lamb, 2004) is the supporting document to the investigation that focuses on femininity and gender roles. I have sought to explore the complex relationships between beauty, body image and femininity, as well as gender roles, in order to reveal environments, sensations, and situations which frequently ensnarl and confine femininity.
