Abstract
The Hmong heritage language program at Lucky Banks High School has been implemented for over eight years. How has this program helped Hmong students improve their academic achievement? Methodology The methodology used in this study is a combination of quantitative analysis of student academic records and qualitative data collected from a survey of Hmong high school seniors at Lucky Banks High School. Conclusions and Recommendations There is a strong correlation between the number of years of Hmong heritage language students have taken and their level academic achievement. However, further studies are needed to directly link academic achievement to participation in the heritage language program at Lucky Banks High School.
