Abstract
GSM automation and control has always been interesting and challenging area for me. After searching for adequate amount of time, I found a demanding project in the GSM automation and data logger designing. The aim of this project is to design a data logger system for a real time application such as smart vehicle tracking system and a weather data logger. Today, data loggers systems are popular but they are costly, and are limited in the sense of customer configurability. The design of such a data logger system, which can configure as per customer need is a challenging design and development task. This project will provide usage of historical database and client server architecture and give more flexibility to the users. It can serve as a real time data logger system, which can configure as per customer requirement and give more flexibility in terms of data display and storage of historical data.
