Abstract
Fire Prevention Plan for William B. Ide Adobe State Historic Park is a practicable application of wildfire mitigation measures aimed at protecting William B. Ide Adobe SHP against wildfires. As climate change continues to ravage California’s natural and historic resources, cultural resource specialists have begun implementing effective fire prevention plans to save the state’s cultural heritage. Guided by the treatments and recommendations of government agencies, park staff, and retired personnel, Fire Prevention Plan for William B. Ide Adobe State Historic Park takes what previous Public Historians have speculated and physically applies them in a real-world scenario.
