Abstract
The Sutter's Fort Rare Book Collection contains over one thousand books, bound periodicals, pamphlets, and ledgers donated by California pioneers. The materials cover a vast range of subjects including California history, military history, education, music, etc. This collection contains useful information for researchers; however, the lack of organization makes the material inaccessible. Using the Sutter's Fort Archives, interviews, books, and thesis I processed the collection and created a finding aid to organize the collection. The complete finding aid allows greater access to the Sutter's Fort Rare Book Collection.
