Abstract
A collection of short stories examining Americana through the lens of impulses we don't always acknowledge or address. This collection strives to demonstrate the growth of skill and knowledge of the creative writing process that I've developed throughout my time in the creative writing program. The goal of this collection was to examine normal characters with normal impulses that manifest themselves in abnormal ways.
