Abstract
This research examined the factors associated with rapid college attainment of Hmong Americans. The research study utilized an exploratory quantitative method. The non-probability sampling included 97 Hmong participants that were college and non-college graduates. Findings revealed that family situation, self-determination, and personal desire to earn a college degree contributed to Hmong college attainment. This study will enable the researchers better understanding the reasons Hmong students have significant aspirations to attend higher education in future years.
