Abstract
The purpose of this study is to expand knowledge of gender euphoria and to broaden the literature on positive gender experiences of TNBGD people. This qualitative exploratory study used content analysis to analyze responses from twelve participants. Participants were adults who self-identify as TNBGD. Data analysis revealed three themes: internal and external elements of gender euphoria, common experiences of gender euphoria, and the positive impact of gender euphoria on future outlook. A significant finding of this research was the experience of “gender contentment.” Recommendations and implications for social work practice and policy are discussed.
