Abstract
The Bracero Program was guestworker program that recruited male Mexican workers during World War II. The Bracero Program led to the separation and fragmentation of Mexican families who were forced to adapt to the transnational living with Mexico and the United States. The purpose of the qualitative study is to explore and document the conditions of the Mexican women during the Bracero Program, because in this guest worker history they have been largely neglected. The study used the snowball sample to conduct three in-depth interviews with women during the Bracero program. Intersectionality theory guides the analysis of the experiences of the Bracero women.
