Abstract
This research analysis looks into the comparative and sequential analysis on the language of the resolutions of ethnic studies programs in the Sacramento area. Some are more encompassing so as to include curriculum, fees, what is needed/used to get the program off the ground, because if the resolutions are not written with the details needed, the proposed program will experience various degrees of success; that is either the ethnic studies program is integrated in the schools as intended or it is ignored completely. This study will be analyzing resolution (pending or passed) from Sacramento City Unified School District in regard to implementing Ethnic Studies in their respective schools and creating a template that will essentially serve as a best practice template for school districts who decide to compose resolutions pertaining to Ethnic Studies integration in their local K-12 schools.
