Abstract
The underrepresentation of female students in Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) majors at California State University, Sacramento inspired the development of this project. An iOS application constructed especially to benefit female undergraduate students in ECS subjects is available as a requirement of this project. The project aims to empower female ECS students by handling difficulties such as limited access to resources and networks, allowing them to excel academically and professionally. The application's primary characteristics are the ability to browse and get prepared for a potential job, networking with seniors and alumni, access scholarship knowledge, and receive real-time updates on events and news in the field. This project promotes gender diversity and inclusivity while improving the overall experience for female students through personalized suggestions and a user-friendly interface.
