Abstract
This collection of poetry, written over the course of the last four years, gives my impressions of contemporary society, the environment, the economy and, in some cases, destruction and death. Despite the bleak nature of many of the poems, my intent is to avoid despair in favor of an acceptance and understanding of misfortune; to acquire knowledge from unfavorable experience, learning to navigate one’s way through modern life.
