Abstract
The design of the curriculum is vital to impart a quality education to the school students. In this project, a method to design a fair curriculum is proposed with the aid of tools available from Artificial Intelligent (AI) methods. In existing design work, sensors to measure temperature, humidity, pressure, carbon dioxide, and total volatile organic compounds were used to check the suitability of school campus for mold growth. Magnetometer and accelerometer sensors were used to measure magnetic fields and acceleration to design the maglev train. Though students could perform CT practices, the students focused only on measurement and just used the data in their applications. Against the existing curriculum design process, learning the truthiness of the sensor data was included in this project. Due to the integration of AI in sensor data verification, students have options to estimate the correct data and use it for their applications. The project involves two phases consisting of two distinct scientific methods. In the first phase of the work, photo voltaic based power generation is simulated, and importance of voltage sensor data is emphasized. The simulation model was tested under faulty data and corrected data. The data correction was done based on a curve fitting method. Through this type of approach, the students would be able to study the control systems related to photo voltaic systems. In the second phase of the work, the relationship among the sensor data variables had been tested and learnt by the students. This learning method was implemented on a water treatment system. Further, the raw water and treated water parameters were compared with the help of a water treatment process. This project enhances the user-friendly experience in learning science subjects by utilizing AI methods to analyze and visualize the sensor data. It is emphasized that the curriculum quality is sufficiently improved due to the sensor data analysis, which is an additional constraint introduced in the curriculum design process.
