Abstract
The diversification of energy sources has created the apparition of many ways to provide electricity. Solar, wind, and water prove themselves as a precious help to the old energy sources (coal, nuclear…). We are now aware of all the troubles caused by the classic’s energies, and we must change our way to produce electricity. The green energies appear like to be the good solution: clean, renewable and their cost is decreasing. However, these renewable energies are not perfect either. They are not enough efficient to provide all the power we need, and they are not stable in time, they are too related to the weather or something the humankind cannot control. Thinking to use only green energies in a short time is a still a dream. But they can help, and they must help. To achieve that transition the idea of hybrid power plant has come. They mix green energy and nonrenewable energy. But for now, they are still rare and unusual. This is the purpose of this project; we will try to find a way to modelist a hybrid power plant and we will try to find out if they are a good answer to solve the issues of combining energies. In this project, we will attend to figure how a hybrid power plant could be relevant economically and in terms of electricity production. Many hybrids power plants have been built all over the world (Germany, Cameroun…) thanks to them we can have a first approach of the results.[3] Thanks to the figures we will find, we should be able to discuss about the relevance of such power plants and figure which hybridization is the most adapted for us.
