Abstract
"This thesis concerns itself with the relatively recent and growing presence of criminal justice/law related projects in public education. Specifically, those projects that have been established that attempt to give the student a knowledge of the police, the courts, the correctional system, and the laws of the city, state and federal government, and wish to incorporate such education into the curriculum, while maintaining a separate identity. Many of the programs emphasize one or two of the above listed criminal justice areas."
