Abstract
Creating the St. Francis Archive is a project designed to add insight into the experience of Catholic education in America. The all-girl Catholic high school of St. Francis started to work on an archive to better preserve their past and help serve the future. When working on creating this archive the archivist discovered that there is an absence of correlating history of the Catholic education system in the North American continent. This thesis will delve into Catholic education in North America and provide an overarching history of their interactions with this new world.
