The problem is a majority of teachers are not creating effective learning centers in classrooms. The purpose of the project is to create a guide for teachers on how to start and use learning centers effectively in a classroom. It is clear that social interaction and behavioral issues needs to improve if students learn to be better collaborators. Another problem was that students who are not motivated are likely to have low self-esteem and put themselves down. These students need appropriate teaching strategies to enhance their academic performances. The purpose of this project is to create and implement learning centers as a teaching strategy to improve students’ social interaction among each other, reduce behavioral issues in classrooms, and increase students’ motivation skills. The result will be a guide of creating effective learning centers for teachers.
