Abstract
Although students are often academically prepared for the high school to college transition, many struggle with the social-emotional aspect of being ready to take on the challenges that this change brings. Research indicates that students are often so preoccupied with getting the highest achieving grades, they tend to lose focus on working on their social-emotional well-being. This can be detrimental when they move out of the structured high school space and into a college, where they are required to be more independent. The following curriculum is composed of eight sessions that address the most common areas where students have difficulty so that they can have the best outcome when the time comes for them to make the transition. The overall project provides a review of the existing literature, why there is a need, how and by whom the curriculum should be delivered, the way in which results should be interpreted, and an appendix that houses the different worksheets that can be used in the sessions.
