Abstract
Statement of ProblemMany students experience difficulties in writing development due to limited instructional time, large class sizes, and inconsistent feedback, while AI tools remain underutilized in structured classroom instruction. This study investigates how artificial intelligence (AI) tools can support high school students in improving their writing skills, particularly in areas such as understanding new concepts, organization, and feedback and revision.
Sources of Data
The sources of data for this study include existing literature on AI in education, research studies on writing instruction, and analyses of AI-based writing tools used in secondary education settings.
Conclusions ReachedThe findings of this study suggest that artificial intelligence (AI), when used thoughtfully, can support student writing development and strengthen instructional practices. Although classroom time for writing instruction is often limited, writing remains an essential skill for college and career readiness
