Abstract
This project developed and distributed a feedback survey to hiring managers within the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ) to evaluate the services and hiring assessments of the Assessment Consultation Team (ACT). Prior to this project, there was not a measure of ACT’s services in place. Overall, the aim of this project was to evaluate ACT’s services (i.e., the created hiring assessments) and gather information that may assist in improving the quality of future hiring assessments. In addition, this project used the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to test whether positive attitudes and perceived subjective norms influence hiring manager’s intentions to reuse ACT’s services. The quantitative results of this project indicated hiring managers (n = 33) generally have a favorable view towards ACT and their hiring assessments. Using the qualitative results, the researcher was able to make recommendations to ACT on how they can improve future hiring assessments and services.
