Abstract
Gun violence is a major concern for many Americans as it impacts their lives daily. Consequently, a new curriculum has been created to fill the missing gap of a gun violence course. This course will act as an introduction to basic concepts, ideologies, and history of gun violence seen throughout the United States. The goal is for students to become educated regarding the importance of gun violence prevention as well allowing the students to learn how to advocate for political change that can directly impact their own communities as well as communities across the country.
