Abstract
Educational institutions are ushering towards an era of minting skilled and highly educated individuals into the society faster than before. This benefits the students by helping them graduate in time, developing skills that are industry ready to make a positive impact and also helps students save money and debt. The Educational institutes also benefit from this initiative by increasing the number of graduates every year and having a large skilled Alumni network. This intention of moving faster than before is motivated by factors like progressive leadership, better domestic talent, strategic workforce in the country etc. Sac State also has a similar campaign to help students graduate on time, called “Finish in Four”. Strategic scheduling is another campaign at Sac State that helps graduates “Finish in Four” by providing essentials like reduced fees, roadmaps, and personalized council. The union of these two programs helps achieve the university agenda. This paper aims to achieve adequate analytical study on Engineering & Computer Science (ECS) college’s historical data and present a few data mining techniques to understand the trends generated by analyzing student enrollment behavior. This provides domain knowledge to the administration by visualizations and association analysis that can help them make effective decisions. A user-friendly web application dashboard is developed using state of the art technologies to showcase the results to the stakeholders and decision makers.
