Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to formulate a desirable curriculum pattern for a minimal sequence of college courses in Speech Correction; said pattern to be based on an investigation of the Speech Correction curriculums offered by thirty U.S. colleges and to include (1) catalogue statements, (2) texts, am {3} expanded course statements. Also, it was hoped that other pertinent information useful to a Speech Correction department on a college level might be acquired, i.e., (4) which colleges maintained a clinic, which of these charged their patients a fee, and to what extent, and (5) which colleges had fellowships available to Speech Correction majors who might wish to continue in graduate work.
