Abstract
End users would rather avoid making significant financial expenditures in the early phases of oil and gas production facilities in order to reduce the risk of an abandoned well site. A production plant would typically have substations, control buildings, and other electrical system infrastructure. We suggest a low-cost, portable, modular type solution for electrical and control system for small production facilities in this kind of scenario. This project studied available methodologies offered in industry literature and applied it to our design. A comprehensive solution to the issue, includes the design and engineering of the electrical and control systems in contained vessels. The system comprises of an electrical control system to operate two pumps, few level switches, pressure and flow transmitters.
This modular type of solution in a production facility enables a speedy production start. Also, the method accelerates the time to first oil and gas production. The size of electrical and control systems has to comply with the needs of the end users. The suggested methodology is expected to help with early cash flow, production schedules expedition, resolving possible logistical problems, and reducing infrastructure expenses.
