Abstract

Harmony Albrechtsberger, Johann Georg, 1736-1809
It is the purpose of this study: (l) to gather data concerning the harmonic theories of Johann Georg Albrechtsberger; (2) to gather data concerning the harmonic practices of Albrechtsberger; and (3) to compare his harmonic theories with his harmonic practices in order to determine whether he wrote his music according to the rules set forth in his theoretical writings.
